its been racking my brain for days now... reckon its possible to convert a commodore v6 back to carb? i know it seems stupid and its something that wouldnt gain anything from doing it but still... i wonder if its doable. the buick v6 used to be carb anyway so im wondering if theres a spot in the block that used to be a hole for a distributor that could be machined out? the cam would have to be modified for a gear for a distributor obviously and all that.. big job. but doable?

what does everyone think?

that manifold wont fit and you wont find one that does LOL have to custom make one out of a stocker manifold and a carb plate made of alloy welded on top like the speedway guys do

It would sound better than EFI but that's about all it would have going for it.

With the Buick it is possible but with the Ecotec I have never heard or seen anything about it.

Well for instance if you want to put the V6 into a bush buggy?

EFI doesn't like hard knocks. Sensors flip the birdy.

I profer carbs over EFI for modifying anyway. They can work just as well.
