Hi, went to a exhaust shop in perth and they said on a VE SS a twin 2 inch system with a twin 3.5 rear section will give the best note and power, they also said they would use 4 '' stainless rear mufflers with a custom Hotdog in the cntre section, quoted 3800 all up. Is that right for a custom system. He said the decible reading should be around 78-80 decible, nice and loud when you plant foot.
$3800 is a stupid price. Better off getting an off the shelf kit. That exhaust goes from too small at the centre (Twin 2") to too big (Twin 3.5") at the rear.
I do a full system, extractors, cats and a twin 2 1/2" for $2500 supply only, or $2900 fitted. Just a twin 2 1/2" cat back is $1195. Comes with hotdog centre and quad tipped rear mufflers.
