SAAS baffled air oil separator for LS1 with return to intake to keep it legal, and remote drain for easy servicing

Added some fuel foam to help strip the oil from the air

Works a treat, my intake is oil free
Bought a catch can, but don't know which hoses to route into it. Being a Gen3 LS / L77 the hoses are different to the LS1. Would you know anyone that done this in an L77 or L98? See my new thread https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/threads/help-install-catch-can-l77-ve-ss-6l.289414/

I actually just removed my catch can, even after fitting the blower there was sweet FA in it after 5k km

Maybe my rings are bedded in good, maybe I'm just lucky

It is now in the boys Patrol, that fills up with more oil in a week than mine ever did, total

I swear the total amount drained from my can was under 100ml, that was from over about 15k km of driving

On a side note, my engine oil level never moves between services

Or just don't get one the vents to atmo because the PCV valve needs vacuum to work correctly.
Ended up getting a saas from supercheap. Worked a treat. Check this after 6000kms

Just a tip with those ones, get some stainless steel wool from woolies like this

Pack it into the middle of the catch can to do some proper baffling. This will aid in separateing the oil from the vapours being drawn back into the PCV.

Expensive catch cans have stuff like this built in as catching the oil is only one part of a good catch can, the other part is separating oil residue from the vapours being sent back into the intake.

If you do some googling you'll see this is a pretty common trick for cheap catch cans and it will make a massive difference for a $2 mod.
