Hey Guys

Just wondering why I'm seeing alot of NA guys running catch cans - I understand about being needed for boost but why are they needed on an NA LS1 car?

N E info would be great

Have a read of this Corvette PCV Oil Catch Can

Basically, the Lsx engines have a bad pvc system, and coat everything in the manifold in oil (can be a fair amount, ive seen one lad with puddles of oil in his) so putting the can on stops all that crap hot oily air mixing with the fresh cool clean air comming in and obviously keeps the manifold clean

I deff noticed mine ran smoother and responsed better when putting it on my ve, after a week or so of driving ive got a teaspoon or 2 of oil in there

Hope this helps :)

+2 for elite. Excellent product, no dramas at all. I pick up a couple of teaspoons of oil after a week or so of driving.

Definatley worth the money!

Another vote for Elite cans - they are the duck's guts.

I'd buy one that is sealed - as the breather type ones do not comply with EPA rules and you may get pinched if you get pulled up.

cheers
