I probably would be able to if I got the can about a couple inches down. Would have to cut a bit out of the cover if I leave the can like that with the cover on.

What have you got it mounted to?

Not sure what it's called but here's a pic from the other side.
You can see that it's doing it's job since the tube to the manifold is clean and the other one has had oil go through it.

I use a VE Specific ASE Catch can. Well I did on the SS. Worked a treat and I was stunned how much oil did actually end up in it. Mine bolts to the battery cover. The only thing you guys wont like (but I do) is that it has a small filter at the top. And before anybody says anything about venting to atmosphere etc, think about your oiled filter in your OTR. Same thing.

I hadnt intended to fit it to the clubby and have it for sale. Why wasnt I going to use it? Because apart from the OTR and a new exhaust and perhaps a tune, this car will have no mods. Im not sure if it makes a difference but the last car was tuned, cammed, exhaust, headers, manifold etc etc.

But it hasnt sold so perhaps I will use it after all.

So I pulled the top off my catch can this morning to add some stainless steel scourers.
The catch can has been on the car for a week, done 350kms max! And I was rather disgusted to see this!

The car has done about 38,XXXkms total, so you can imagine what the intake manifold and valves would look like. I'll be flushing multiple carbon cleaners through the manifold in the coming weeks.

Speaking of carbon cleaners and such, what would be the best to use and where abouts/how do u flush the manifold on these engines. Been meaning to do it since I put my catch can on. Cheers

Subaru's upper manifold cleaner is the best **** you can buy.
Merc use it, Holden use it, many other manufacturers use the Subaru cleaners.

I got mine from my local Holden dealer for $20 a can. Just follow the instructions on the can.
