Elite Catch Can Installed 29/10/2015.
I wanted the FLX bracket on so a mod was needed as the engine cover hold down pin/bracket in Aussie is one piece for My12.
Anyway found the alloytec pin/bracket was 2 piece so got pin with thread.
Get a spare MY12 bracket and cut the pin off the bracket.
It`s not a tight fit but a lock nut seems good.

Excellent photos Pete.
Just checked out Elite Engineering's website
I didn't know about these oil catch cans, will definitely look into fitting one on my engine.

What mount bracket would I use for the MY07 SV6?
Can you recommend an upper engine cleaner?

I popped into Autobarn earlier to enquire about oil catch cans and they could order a Moroso brand 'universal fit' for $352
Supercheap Auto had some real cheap units for about $80

This was the unit from the Autobarn cattledogue:
Air-Oil Separator Universal Kit, Small Body

They also had some upper engine cleaner, the warning on the side of can stated to consult with manufacturers workshop if your vehicle has 'electronic throttle' control and it should only be used by an experienced mechanic.....thoughts?

Real cheap catch cans are cheap for a reason. No baffling and no media to catch the oil.

I've been running the Elite catch can for about 4-5years now and in that time it's kept my inlet manifold clear of most oil.
Yes there is a shiny coating inside but before the catch can there were pools of oil sitting on the bottom of the inlet.
Do my changes every 5K about 7-9months and catch about10-15mm deep of oil in the reservior.

Got from here aussie.
Tuff Car Parts Online Performance Store - Australian Mail Order Performance Parts Online
Now if you want the LFX Bracket (extra price) sent a email to tuffcars and tell him what you want.
You need to work out where you are going to put it.
You may not have to buy one if you use the small bracket (suppled with kit) up to you where you put it.
I will give you some pics of my kit (no LFX Bracket) later have to do something.

Mail from the states is ****.
I got the bracket $15 US + a part $99 US post was $75 I think.

Ok Pic of parts no FLX Bracket which you may not need.
