CD player changover

I'm considering changing the single track Eurovox CD player/radio in my VX 2 wagon to a 6 stack Blaupunkt Blaupunkt CD player/radio removed from a VY.

Are the wiring connectors on a 6 track Blaupunkt CD removed from a VY exactly the same as the wiring connectors on a single track Blaupunkt CD currently in the VX 2 or is modification necessary?

I'm hoping to be able to change over the units without any problems.

If we set aside the 'Why the #### would you?'

The connections would likely be the same.

A $50 after market head unit would do a better job

The VX`s are EUROVOX not Blaupunkt so no I doubt they have the same loom plug. plus the six stacker will have both steering wheel remote loom (not essential) and the stacker unit cord that you do need
