I installed the speakers, put a cd in and all i herd was silence.

Any idea what i could of done wrong?

Have you got speaker cable running from the speaker outputs on the head unit to the speakers? If you don't, head down to your local Jaycar/Dick Smith and pick up some. Make sure you attach the positive side to the positive terminal on both the speaker and the head unit.

Since the Calais came with rear and front speakers, the wiring should already be there. Did you hook up the speakers to the existing wiring, or run your own? Also did you use one of those aeropro looms that plugs into your existing one? Or did you hack into the existing wiring?
