Cd stacker stopped working

I have a vs executive manual 3.6ltr I have a axis cd stacker cx1005 model brand something like that the cd stacker was working at one stage but now it has stopped i think it may have over heated what can i do to fix it if thats possible we have a remote control it flashes number 10 and then -- -- next to it i have looked at the fuses it aint them im sure i thought it may be the modulater any ideas ive pulled the cord out of the stacker pulled the stacker out i have no idea get back to me if you can help with any ideas
