Anyone else received a letter from the ABS about census night (10th August)

Apparently we complete it online this time.
I went to their website and it says you can complete the census before the 10th as soon as you get the letter, if you know where you'll be on census night.

There's about 1 million people in lockdown in Sydney for another month so I guess they'll know where they will be on census night

There's also about 34,000 Aussies stranded overseas at the moment, who want to come home but can't

Spend the evening with neighbors, if you're not locked down...

They must still be doing some paper copies, surely. There would be over a million people in the country with no access to a computer or the Net.

Good observation,
Yeah, my mum is one of them LOL, she doesn't own a computer, no internet, and doesn't want a computer.
She is quite happy with just her landline phone and her transistor radio.


Lets hope the ABS servers can handle the load of the many millions of people who will be doing it online on the same night.

Yep my mum is the same. Plus a huge proportion of the elderly in Tas are in much the same boat.
