Here is the wiring diagram for a VR but it should be the same with the exception of the BCM.

ok this maybe a stupid question but are the actuators the same part for left and right in the front? or are there meant to be two different ones?

They are actually three different types.
You have the driver's door actuator, the front passenger actuator and then the rear door actuators.
So yes you should have different types for the front

ok i think i have solved my problem, both of the actuators have the same part number on them, the locks i have are correct for left and right the actuators i think are both for the passenger side because that side is working correctly.

can anyone confirm if this part number is for the passenger side

and does anyone know what is the part number for the drivers side

Actuator part numbers

This confirms you have 2 passenger actuators
