thanks mate, I can't read the wire colours again or BCM plug and pin location.... but in the first pic, shorting either of the two outside wires to ground will activate the central locking.

In this pic, monitor these two wires for activity using a multimeter when pressing the lock/unlock/boot

OK my car has a ghost, thought I'd try and double lock it to see what happens... nothing. So I see if boot pop works on remote... it does. Just for the hell of it I click the unlock button and low and behold... it works!! Tried it a few times and it's fine lol.

Thanks Nut

It's sounding more and more like the battery in your key fob. Or just your keyfob in general.

Excellent responses by tasmaniak and Nut Cracker.

But as finally found out, looks like a keyfob issue.
$90 Mr Minit for the keyshell is a roundabout price i was quoted a few months back.

If you dont have a spare key and from the sounds of it you dont cos you didnt try it, then might be the best time to get one.
