Appreciate the ongoing reports on your Crewmans (Crewmen?), and I hope that I don't have to use all the info and how to's that you are digging up.
Did I post about the rear seat catch? It’s also used on Vauxhall Astra Opel Vectra as well.

Rear seat catch ............. that little doodad (GM-92141068) was a paltry $46.53 back in 2013.
I keep all my receipts, so I know how much I have wasted on cars invested for future appreciation of assets..

It's normally the rubber that cracks on the bearing that goes before the actual bearing.
The change in the bearing not CV was VT2.
I got under the car for a good look. If I really push it around theres movement but not from the bearing. In the rubber around it. No cracks. Looks in good condition. I’m happy it’s ok but keen to make sure I have a spare.

Fu if possible get a gen bearing the aftermarket ones are pretty loose in the boot and if you bounce the shaft enough they will let go, even when they are new. However the gen unit is really stiff and doesn't suffer from this.

I can’t get a part number though. Holden won’t look. They just say it’s no longer available.

Anyone have access to Holden part numbers? If it were the US or UK, I’d have access myself.

I believe it's the same centre bearing as previous gen commos and that the housing is the only difference

I just noticed that. I can take that apart by the look.

Yeap, need a slide hammer to split them apart from memory. There is also a circlip that's holding the cv in. Just have fun with the cv ball-bearings. The last ones a bitch

I did mine on the Adventra in November,
It wasn't too hard, just need to persevere.
Don't need a slide hammer,
Just a can of WD40, and a dowel punch, and it will slide off.
