Centre CV Joint Size/Spline number

Howdy Champions


Im about to order new centre tailshaft cv joint for a V6 VS wagon,non irs.There seems to be 2 sizes relating to number of splines i think was 24 and 25 although 27 could of got a guernsey from memory.

Before getting underneath and having to remove it and leave on stands til the parts arrive.Would anyone know how to tell which size suits.The parameters for sizing?


Any advice is greatly appreciated.

VS Ute live axle which will be the same as a wagon. I got 25 though….

Yes sorry 25 looks correct.Yes size variation = irs/live axle,makes sense.
