I did a search and found nothing on this.

Does anyone know what the Champion brand spark plug reference number is for the VY series 2 V6 engine?

I scored a set but it doesn't look like the right plug.

If not, does anyone know who the distributor is in Australia?

Give Repco a call, as they stock Champion spark plugs.

Thanks for that mate. I did try but the number they gave me is what I have.

Side by side the Champion is about 3mm to 5mm longer than the GM or the NGK ones.

Thread looks different too

If Repco confirmed the part # on the spark plugs you should be ok.

You will soon know if its a different thread when you put them in, as they will lock up and be hard to turn.

Hope this helps:thumbsup:

just push the threads of the champion plug against the threads of the gm/ngk plug, if they mate together over the entire lenght of the thread they should be fine if not there not right(checking thread pitch). being 3-5mm longer seems strange.
