Change VE digital speedo in MPH?

Hi Guys,

I've moved to the UK and have shipped my VE SV6. Does anyone know if the digital speedo has a function to change to MPH? If not, has anyone changed a fascia in the past?

Quick mental conversion me thinks.

I've had heaps of old Pommy cars......MGs, Healeys, Triumph, Hillman, Morris, and a mental conversion I found was easy.

Cheers Gossie, unfortunately we have to have it by law. There's a place doing fascia kits but i don't want to mess about with the dash if at all possible.

Yeah it can be done!
Needs to be activated in the cluster with custom programming to allow switching between metric and imperial

And before its asked, no, Holden does not have that ability in their scantool.

What about contacting vauxhal as HSV exported to the UK and rebadged them vxr8

I'm about to do the same thing, where can I get this programming done before it leaves Australia?

Go online to YouTube and search for it as there are plenty of guides also go to www.lockwoodinternational.co.uk they have direct replacement dial faces for the VE.
I'm planning on shipping mine to U.K as well, how did you do it?
How long did it take, how did you protect memory during shipping.
Also don't forget you need to install a rear fog light controlled by illuminated switch to pass uk M.O.T test.
