    hey all

last time I asked this i got no where except for a few people who told me my coolant doesnt need changing.

Anyway for personal reasons i want to change my coolant. I want to check this is how its done ...

-Take the radiator cap off to relieve pressure
-drain the coolant via the drain tap on the bottom of the radiator tank til no more spills out
-add coolant to the radiator (the black/yellow high pressure cap) til it takes no more, then fill the overflow/reservior til its on full (the bottle with the yellow checker)
-start the car, heater on and let it heat up
-add coolant to the radiator (through the high pressure cap hole) as it drops until it takes no more
-reapply the high pressure cap and let it run
-check the reservior and top up as needed

Does this sound right or have I missed something?

remove the radiator shroud cause i think there is a bleed screw on the radiator, (its possibly a ve im thinking of tho),

if you want to get all pro remove the hoses from the radiators and reverse flush with water, shouldn't really be any gunk in you car for its age tho. same with the engine, disconnect a heater hose, block off the outlet pipe on the engine (the hose with the thermostat on the other end) and flush water back out the inlet on the engine
