Hi all, my son just bought a VT and when you wind the driver's seat forward or back, the left hand side doesn't move, only the right.
So my question is if we get another seat off the wreckers, what's the go with changing them over? Isn't the seat belt clip with the pre- tensioner attached to the side of the seat? Wondering if the wiring (if any) will just unplug, and should the battery be disconnected so as not to log a code in the SRS? Cheers.

Yes disconnect the battery first (so you don't get the airbag light coming on)

from memory there is only two wires to be unplugged the airbag one and the one for the power seat motor.

Thank you. I will also pull the fuse as per the How-to of VY steering wheel removal.
    Thanks for the replies.
