changing engine from v6 to v8

I have a vp v6 manual wagon and just bought a vn v8 auto (complete car) and I want to put the 5ltr in the vp. just wondering if i need to change the k frame or not??? i want to get the conversion done quickly and would rather not waste time with test fitting. going to pull everything i need out of the vn before i start ripping out what i dont need in the vp so, i need to know if i need to pull the k frame out of the vn.
the vp is the only registered car i have and i live 20kms+ from the nearest town so, i cant be without a car too long.

yeah the v8 k frame is different to the 6 so it will need to be swapped over
