Has anyone changed their fuel injectors and found any dramatic change? My engine runs rough a little off idle and I was considering doing the injectors but not sure if it would achieve anything.

i bought a spare set of ebay, i take them to an injector specialist to get them cleaned, new filters put in and seals then flow tested, only cost me about $80. Then every 50 - 100,000k i swap them over again and get the other set done, i find it keeps the fuel economy up to scratch and helps it run more even. The injectors do have filters internally and if one gums up then it can put your engine out a little, it also keeps the power response where it should be, i can tell when they need doing as i put my foot down and it's laggy not snappy.

I have a spare old set to use as a exchange ...saw on ebay a local place that sells exchange cleaned ones for about 100 bucks...might do it...mine are 300k old and never changed and at odd times my car runs pretty rough...the v6 is a pretty unbalanced motor but as you tramp on it sometimes it doesnt like to run hard...other times it goes well...I have new plugs and leads....... injectors look next.

my car wouldnt start when warm, and when it did, it took a good 5 seconds of turning over.. idled rough, wasnt very smooth... had new plugs leads, coil packs... Put new injectors in it, Problem solved, runs like a dream now, starts first time everytime, and is so smooth
