Changing My supercharged XU6 to v6

    Are you able to bypass the supercharger on my xu6 to turn it into a normal v6? My girlfriend will be driving it for now and i want it to have less power seems it has a bit of work done to the charger. Also will it give it better fuel economy?

    Short answer is no, what's the reason you want it to have less power? Maybe buy an excel.

    Simple fix, remove the blower belt. This is completely safe to do and wont harm anything. If anything though it may use more fuel than before without running the blower.

    Won't float though if the reason you want to bypass it is P plate laws though...why I asked

    Buy another car. A lot of effort to bypass the supercharger.
