its pretty simple. jump under, unplug them from the loom, unscrew from the Y piece of the exhaust. apply anti sieze to the new ones, screw them in, plug them in, and WOLLA! I know thats not 100% perfect the HOWTO but there isn't allot to it.
they are probably stuck. if they don't move try it with a hot exhaust. if that doesn't work, spray liberal amounts fo CRC or WD40 onto threads of O2 sensor. it should hopefully loosen em
why not, you get some smoke, the heat actaully helps pull it into the threads. i didn't beleive it until someone did it at work after heating something with the gas axe. worked a treat
CRC won't ignite on a hot exhaust, it doesn't get hot enough, it will just smoke and stink a bit. If you can change a spark plug, you can do an O2 sensor.
I sprayed it 2 days prior. I used my leg to undo it and when it went it kained my leg belted it on something and was limping for 3 days. I think its a 1/2 (20cm) I cut the top of mine by the way with bolt cutters so I could fit a socket over the mongrel then used a breaker bar with my leg. Have fun!
oh crap. your right lol. my bad, randomness. I think it must be 22mm. I remember now. bahahaha cheers abbafan!
thats actually not a bad idea, I might try that next time I cant get a set off, I generally just prefer to use anti sieze when installing them
thats good when fitting a new one, unfortunatly the the guy who fitted the original didn't care about the poor bastard who had to take it out in 10 years time. the last time i bought a O2 sensor it came with anti-seize already on the threads
