Hi guys and gals

I have the 6 stacker stock unit in silver and would like to change it to black to match the rest of the car.

From what I can tell a whole new stereo unit will need to be programmed to match the vin of the car- is that correct?

But what if I was just changing the front plate (see pictures), a six stack black for a six stack silver, would it still need to be programmed?

By the way the pictures show a single stack, they're just for illustration.

Thanks all

If You swap all the insides to the new facia then it will work no worries. Assuming you don't stuff anything up. No programming required.
