Rod as far as i know you can just run the car without it and it's not illeagal such as removing a catylictic convertor. I had some lines hanging down in my bay and i asked what they were and bloke say charcoal can, don't worry bout it ?

also mine doesnt have a pipe on the bottom only the 3 on thre top so wat pipes would i use 2 blow air into? it? this is 4 VP btw.

pretty sure the bottom hose is just an escape for water.

I don`t remember it and not there anymore.
I think it is a filter for the power steering which must of been put on when I got a new rack many moons ago.
I have a look at my receipts later this avro.
I`m sure that is what it is.
