Yep, not really an eye opener for me but very accurate.

Dyno's are good for before/after but not comparing cars who are run in different places and even at different times.

Dyno readouts are very subjective and are used to win arguments only.

I got my car dyno'ed before and after clutch and tuning to see where my money went but try not to compare it against other cars. (Although it is natural to want to).

Mainly because while I have an LS2 that is cammed, has Higgins heads and some other bits, nice tight engine and running very very well still has a lower dyno readout than a bloke with a LS1, with a comparable cam and no head work.

Cheers.

Mmmhmm its very interesting, even if well known. Just might help the guys asking the "why is my car 50rwkw down??" questions.
