I just bought a HID conversion kit from Repco for $89. The ballast becomes the new dust/weather cover. And they're bright. Well worth it.

Just thought Id let you all know.

Did you get projector headlights to go with them or are you blinding everyone else now?

Going by the description in his ride details, it looks like he has a series 2 SSV which would have projector H/L as standard. :)

I say they'll last 6-8 months before a globe blows or starts to flicker.

How long do they take to warm up to full strength.
I got some off ebay that took 20 seconds to warm up.
Apparently the new generation of HID warm up almost instantly
