hi everyone, autobarn in victoria have nulon 5-30 dexos on special for $29 for 5 liters , sale is on now and last till sunday 19 november.
i am going to stock up its a really cheap price cheers all

Seems like there has been some real bargains across most auto stores over the last three months or so on oils. I was going to grab some oil six weeks ago thinking gee that's cheap but I had already bought enough to service the ute. Then just last week SCA had a three day 40 or 50% off oil and trans fluids. Not sure why the heavy discounts of a late, maybe over supply??

It's a very competitive market in auto parts and fluids. I think soupercheep has given repco a big shake up so they have to compete or die, and autobarn has no choice but to go along for the ride.
They also know there's big bickies to be made up to Christmas so they want you is their store not somewhere else...

Yep get you in the door for the oil hoping you'll buy other stuff like filters etc, noticed supercheap oil filters arnt that cheap these days.

Good value, considering that I just paid $14.10 per litre plus labour for a 'professional' oil change on a family members non-Holden.

Is that dexos approved oil from penrite? And if you can oil don't you need to flush out the old stuff?

Mobil 1 dexos half price at repco $49.99 this week 5 litre 5W30

Don't need to flush old oil when changing it only coolant as they have different anti corrosion properties and they can counter act with each other when mixed .

As long as meets standards recommended and viscosity it'll be fine.
