Got some ACDELCO wiper parts.
Haven`t fitted yet but will be a great saving.
Buy blades cheaper that GM.

Yep. You have to replace the whole arm and not just the rubbers. A really expensive exercise when you can't be bothered wiping the birdy poo off the windshield and it gets baked on.
Then you think hey how lazy am I? Just turn the wipers on and pull the washer button.
That's when you see the dried bird poo tear a hole though the rubber.
That's when you learn how much they are.
That's why you never do it again.

Nice. Not more than a few drops and a little bit of drizzle for me. :( These don't lock you into a particular brand of blade or anything do they? It'd be really good if I can just drop into my local whatever store and grab some blades. For those times when it does finally rain and I find out I really need new ones asap because I've put it off replacing them too long. As I'm prone to do.

AC Delco blade/AC Delco refill.

Thanks again VS_Pete. That's not a deal breaker, especially considering the price difference. I'd just have to not let them get to the unusable stage, thinking I can get them instantly if it rains.
