gday i have a vt ss, and recently the check engine light has come up intermittantly, mainly when i have been going 80km or over, or on a trip 20 mins or longer. the light comes on, and within 30 seconds is off again, but might come on again a bit after again for the same amount of time. any ideas what it could be? ive tried to check the error codes but didnt work
I would be checking your ground leads i had same problems in my vt 6 and when it engine light come on the speedo stay where it was wouldnt move and the fuel instance stop working and went to o.o so i would be checkinh the earth points one near battery or check the one to the engine block when they are lose they cause problems like that. Also when myn was playing up i had trouble trying to get the diagnostic bypass to work would work somtimes and one minute later would work so i would be checking and cleaning all earth points.
