check engine light comes on

after installing a xforce 2.5 cat back system, russo maf enabled otr and had a performance tune the check engine light came on.

After taking back to tuner advised that the rear O2 sensors on exhaust don't even come into equation. Why do they even put them in? They are not even recognised by computer.

Does not effect tune or performance.

The engine light has gone away for now???


But why when cold does engine race, idles high before settling down, then up comes check engine light?

Anyone had this problem error code says rear o2 sensors, replaced and check wiring no good computer does not register them anyway. This is on standard tune and performance tune

But this ute is still putting out 240rwkw goes like a rocket and gear changes so smoothe glad got manual.

Take it back to the tuner and tell him to fix it.

the rear oxygen sensors are only there to make sure the cat conversters are working correctly, sometimes if you fit high flow or aftermarket cats, they can trigger codes as the oxygen/monoxide etc content alters

na wasn't the tuners fault it did it whne the car was not tuned.

Been 4 days and no light has come up. Might of fixed itself.

Wa Performance did a great job.
