Get a ruler and measure the battery tray and see if you can fit a din75 the din65 will be good but if a din75 will fit there is no reason not to use it. We stock century batteries at work.

I bought an AC Delco battery from Holden. $120. 850 CCA. Our is V6.
Old mate at Holden found one to suit a VE S2 V8 Ute I think it was.
    Straight into the V6 Calais.
I did a thread on it because it involved modding the venting to have two tubes rather than one.

That a lot of good CCA. I worry that the VE uses more battery compared to the VF when staying in your garage doing nothing. I read somewhere when if the VE stays idle for a month or so you will experience more flat batteries compared to the VF. Also I think if the VE is locked and the Alarm is on its worse.

Funny thing about Writing in CAPS as I bought this up to my specialist as I had 3 Strokes (yes still alive @ 69 years old) and I Ask him why do my eyes and my brain skip (Cant see it) sentences when printed in lower case but if there is plenty of CAP letters my eyes/brain lock onto it. Its like a Train that drives through a railway station and the train driver doesn't see the station unless there is a sign in BOLD and in CAPS saying the Station.
By the way it took me 15 minutes to write theses 5 lines because of all errors like no spaces, poor grammar, spelling mistakes I think of a word by the time I try to write it I forget the the word or better still half way trying to write the word I forget it.

Off topic but this is the reason I dont drive a car by myself (Always have my wife and Daughter with me) because Im scared of driving through a RED light but at the other side of things i'm extremely GOOD just as good or better before I had the first stroke. They say he Brain is working to repair itself and using another part of the brain to store data which has never been used before but the trouble with me the brain gets fixed in 12 months but I have another stroke and goes back to square one.

Writing in CAPS is the equivalent to shouting in text, it's just plain rude to type in all capitals. Good to hear you're slowly getting better.

Yes I know about shouting using the caps. Its extremely hard for me to type, also I have only 40% speaking capabilities . so I cant use those programs that allows you to talk and the computer type for you. I'm due for another stroke or TIA, its been 12 months since the last one I had.

Just to clarify, my comments were not aimed at you, rather the OP who did this on every one of his threads.

I'm a little dyslexic so I undestand the brain works in strange ways at times. I've also heard that left handed people have more connections between left and right sides of the brain so "lefties" recover quicker from strokes than "righties". Me being heavy right handed, I guess I'm stuffed then o_O

@VFSV6FORME I didn't know about stroke sufferers having reading perception issues w.r.t. uppercase / lowercase. Guess now i wont always assume people who write in all uppercase are simply being rude and shouting  Hope you continue to improve daily ;)

What about if you type in CAPS to write the post, then highlight the text and change it to all lowercase to post. A few missing capitals won’t both us. A good compromise.

I get the acquired brain injury thing.
My son nearly died a number of times and had his brain wiped clean of all information and knowledge as a result of the trauma to put it simply. Started again. He can make amazing things with his hands but struggles to read, draw, and colour in.

He can also pick up on capitals better now you have mentioned it.
That’s an interesting insight into what it’s like. He can’t tell us that stuff.

Yes All,, I struggling with this issue, mainly when typing in the afternoon because the brain gets tired and this is the reason why I type in the morning
The Biggest, the Biggest, SUPER Biggest issue I have is example I think of a word like CAT so when I type it My Brain thnks of CAT Spelt CAT but my fingers type KSR and when I finished what is KSR I want to write CAT. I have to EXTREMELY CONCENTRATE just to type a simple word

The second issue I have I want to type a word say a example a bigger word like battleship. When my Brain thinks about the word the fingers are doing different but at the same time when I get to BATTE I forgot the word that I want to type (EXTREMELY POOR MEMORY RETENTION)
Well put it this way I prefer this issue compare to being dead but sometime I lash out to my Family because this issue bring me down. Most time I use My daughter or my wife to type for me if I can speak correctly. again i'm not to bad in the Morning but the Afternoon is sometime different.
When I come to complicate thing Like Electronics "eg" My satellite Control room with untine Monitors and decoder boxes I ALWAYS Involve my daughter or Wife just for Memory ONLY because they dont need to know what i'm doing but If a say something they must repeat it if needed
To write this post it has taken me 30 minutes, you guys will do in 40 seconds. Pity you guys are not local otherwise I would invite you over to see our cars + the satellite room, The decaited computer room for the sat room, The Sat Farm ( 9 dishes) most that come to our house they think I'm a nutter or work for Nasa because of all the equipment I have.
Anyhow guys try to not have a stroke because some stroke will leave you like me walking perfect but everything else is scattered.
