Was driving to work in the pouring rain today and the car lost Trac and tc kicked in. Right after the low Trac disappeared the check engine came on. Car is running fine but error won't go away. Gonna check with scan tool tomorrow. But does anyone have any ideas, suspicions?

correct me if im wrong but does the traction control work by killing power in the engine by dumping too much fuel in it? at least thats how it seems to work on the ecotec
if that is the case maybe it picked it up with the O2 sensors and hasnt realised about TC?? just a wild guess but thats all that came to mind
