VE Omega S2
hey guys,

I've got a 2010 series 2 VE Omega.

Recently I've been getting a check engine and stability warning alert, yet this has only happened right after I wash my car.
It lasts about 10 - 15 seconds then goes away.

I don't relise any issues with the engine when the warning comes up.

do you think it's just a faulty sensor due to water?
or is it something serious that I should get checked out?

has anyone else had this happen to them ?

thanks

Same issue.
Was coming up with those warnings and would lose power for a few seconds then clear out. Happened a few times.

Now check engine and stability warning are on as soon as the car is started and is "glugging"

A mechanic took it and said problem was fixed (changed the coil pack) but got it home and its still happening.

Would it be an alternator issue ? Did u find out what was the issue ?

Because apparently they cant work out anything wrong with it

Check batt voltage when cranking.
If it's too low these symptoms will appear then disappear..

I have seen mine have a few strange issues with a dying battery.

Drop it into engineering mode and dial up voltage.

1st - Battery
2nd - Throttle Body

If the battery is getting old n tired, might be a good idea to replace it
If the battery is good, the throttle body is a good place to look, as they tend to play up

We ended up having someone else come and look at it and now have some fault codes. Ones po300 which is random misfire. And a po430 which was the cat system efficiency below threshold or something.
