hi guys i just followed the how to check error codes thread and i checked em 3 times to make sure now unless i got it wrong i got code 12 three times in a row then straight after those 3 code 12 s number 46 came up ?apparently number 46 means ' no reference signals while cranking ' so now im confused any idea whats going on cheers muzza
Thats the one that can appear when the Crank Angle Sensor (CAS) is failing. Might be prudent to instal new one before it fails completely.
Yeah definately the good old crank angle sensor. Has your car stalled out of the blue lately? Have you been having any trouble in starting your car, particularly when hot?
yeah guys now and then ill b driving she just stalls then i start it straight away engine light stays on . also sumtimes i get in my car and it just cranks ovr then it will start cheers for the advice guys ill get a new cas put in cheers
