The VX error codes are now represented by groups of four flashes instead of two flashes like the older commys. Example- code 12 is now represented by 10 flashes, 10 flashes, 1 flash, 2 flashes. The 10 flashes stands for 0. The older commys just had one flash followed by 2 slightly quicker flashes, to represent tens and units to make code 12. After the 10 flashes, how many of the "1's" is it giving you before it starts over.?

Hey guys, I've bridged the ports but there is no flashing when I put the ignition on. The light is just off. If I start up the engine, with the bridges still ported, the light stays on. If I take the paperclip out the engine warning comes back on immediately (while running). Any ideas what is happening here? cheers
Just wondering if people know about the Android App called Torque Pro? If you have an OBD2 blutooth adapter (can get them off eBay) you can use this app to get a detailed report of your car. Fault codes, performance, sensor data and more etc.
I got the impression that the Vt/VX don't have the capabilities for that - ie. full OBD2 compliancy. would be awesome if it works. anyone?
no mate that wont work does anyone here make/sell the correct cable for the vx V6? id rather buy of a member if possible
Hey I bridged the ports but the engine light stays solid and I get a succession of beeps like 3 beeps, 3 beeps, 3 beeps then nothing and the engine light stays solid. My car is a vt 5.0L if that helps. Does the engine light flash the codes? Or signalled by beeps? Cheers.
From my understanding It's repeating the code, the long pause signals the end of read, and then repeats.
All good got it sorted turns out I blew a fuse touching a different connector, all sorted and just the 12 repeating continuously so no error codes. But I know somethings up it's not idling properly at start up every time it turns on you need to hold revs for about 5 secs then it holds revs, I've cleaned the IAC and throttle body still no good I'm thinking it may have a cam in it.
Hi i have a 2001 vx commodore acclaim. I completed the diagnosis with no problems but its coming up with code 28?? which i cant find anything on, I have retried it several times and its still coming up with code 28 does anyone know??? Thanks

Hi. Are the clubsports a bit different? Not only are my pins arranged slightly differently but its the abs light the flashes code 12 when 5 and 6 are bridged. Is this normal? Have 2000 clubsport r8 Cheers.

Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong, I oen a 01 vu ss gen3...does the the ignition have to be on before or after putting the paperclip into 5 & 6? Does the paperclip have to be insulated? I cannot get the engine light to flash at all :/
