    Hey guys,

Just changed my fuel filter and had a quick check through the gregorys manual to make sure I hadnt missed anything. I noticed they recommend checking the fuel system pressure (17psi). It was a fairly detailed test, and you had to bridge a relay and check the pressure response. It checked a few things basically. So im just wondering if anyone does do this regularly? And if you have found a problem with the car while doing the test. My car is running fine, so im not too worried. Just thought if it is a worthwhile test I might go out and get myself a pressure gauge.

    Cheers

I don't want to sound picky but those figures you quote seem somewhat different to a VS - the manual says 280kpa (40psi) at idle and 320-350kpa (46 to 59 psi) at idle with pressure regulator hose disconnected. Thats from the Gregory VS manual...maybe they changed something but I thought the same fuel pump was fitted from VN to VS.
