    This maybe known to people here or w/e but CHEETR did you have your VT in a car mag earlier this year? ive got the mag but id have to dig it up but there was a guy with a white VT with the name cheetr had the name sprayed into the engine bay etc.
    if that vt in your earlier posts is the same as the one in the mag all i can say is wtf..the vt owned that..sorry

    how can you say the vt ownes this when my car is now ehere near finished mate.
    i still have rims, interior, stereo , tray engine bay to go....

    the vt was too heavy and sucked too much petrol considering there was **** all engine mods.

    ill have some updatse later guys.

    the ute weighs like 300kg leighter.

    and yes the vp will be better on fuel

    the vt was getting about 300kms to the tank if i grannied it.

    i dont really care to be honest about fuel.

    and im sick of hearing about i shoul dof kept the vt.


    i got the ute to build another insain car.


    1. SO I CAN TOW MY BIKES
    2. SO I CAN PUT MY STAFFIE IN TEH BACK WHEN I GO RIDING
    3. ITS MANUAL not AUTO LIKE THE VT


    and

    4. I DONT GIVE A **** WHAT ANYONE SAYS ITS MY DECISION GET OVER IT


    the vt took 3 years to get to wha tit was, give the ute another 6months and itll **** over the vt

    I have no doubt this will be better than the VP, its come a long way already and im sure has HEAPS to go.
    Any idea why the vt sucked so much fuel?

    i have no idea man, we could never find the problem.

    it was a brand new motor, every sensor was brand new.

    i have a feeling it was something to do with the TPS sensor.


    at least with this ute, i have built it from ground up, i know where evry wire ec... is and i can hide it all properly as i go.


    and i was very bored of the vt.


    I HAVE SOME INSAIN PLANS FOR THE UTE YET, as always ill keep updating the thread.

    i need a set of front doors though cos missing so much **** on mine.

    this thing is gonna look ****ing mean! what colour will the seats be? are you doing them the same colour tan or a differnt shade to break it up?

    How goes the engine bay wiring hiding going?

    On a side note, when you got defected with the T-model, did they say anything abou the chrome bonnet guages? i wanna go chrome but not sure how stringent they are with that rule...

    Chrome Guages on the bonnet is defect so is any guage in ur view.Put em low save the hastle.

    That's not true. They are defectable if they are brighter than any of the the other brightwork.

    thanks guys!!

    the gauges i got defected all the time when they were chrome.

    however if you run a string from the top of your window to the front bottom of the bonnet and they dont touch, and they are non reflective and on the passenger side then they are LEGAL.

    if they are in drivers view and petrude over the string and/or reflective they are ILLEGAL.




    im doing heaps on it 2moro, so ill be sure to update the thread.

    The mag I saw the vt in I think was unique cars, you gonna get this car in a mag?
