Hmmm.....it will be interesting to see how members feel when the Chev SS hits the road. All VF's and every one wearing a Chev badge.......
Lucky I came through this thread. I was gonna embarrass my self so much by buying chev badges for my ve v8 ute. Like wyeebloke stated I always heard that its allright to put on v8 holden as its a chevy engine. Ne how my only aim of putting chev badge was coz it looks good ne way I know what m gonna do just de badge the whole ute and I be happy. And I love my HOLDEN UTE. lol PS even after so much people voting against the chev badges I see every 2nd holden car with chevy badges. Go work it out.
Another Holden saved from embarrassment! Let's put it this way, when you stick a chev badge on almost everyone thinks you are a tool. Same goes for HSV badges on non-HSV cars.
We now have a Chevvy Cruze running around in the local area. Well, from the back, anyway, but it's still a Holden Cruze in front. Not a good look.
Actually there are chev cruizes, so it is probably the legit thing. It is very strange to see them around, but they are the badge that they left the factory with, so no they are not wankers, unlike those who put them on commodores. It will be interesting when the VF hits the streets, seeing as they too will legitimately be able to have a bow tie on them.
I realise there are Chev Cruzes, but they had Chev insignia front and back, not Chev on the boot and Holden on the grille.
Heres a question (slight TIC) now that GM is selling our VF SS as their Chevy SS, does that now make it any less acceptable to badge our version as a chev.... (Flak jacket/flame suit on)
i would say, they would be wanting to put the holden badge on if they were smart about where the car came from and so forth. still has nothing to do with "Chevrolet" other then the fact they are going to use the design.
