its called a trade plate, how u think they let people do test drives on the street? (apart from letting them drive the registered ones)

Yeah I know... My dealer told me not even Dealer plates were allowed until the 14th.

i was reading a old wheels mag ( a late last year issue ) and it said that chev wasn't going to use the VE because it couldn't afford to produce it or even to import it.

Does that include all exort markets? Such as China, South Africa, Canada, Middle East and North America?

I don't think it's the case any more!

i think it may of only been at chev in america i guess they are doing better in every other country but they're own!!:yeah:

hey guys,

long time viewer, first time poster. i promise i'll be more active from now on!

couldnt help but see there weren't good pix of "chevy" VE's, i spotted one down at the local Sunday Market on Aug 6, but never got around to posting them till now.

It was an Impulse SS (not V), was still RHD but had chev badges everywhere, even steering wheel. gives me an idea of what our E will look like if i was to chevy it when it arrives in march, like our current VZ SV6.:yeah:

sorry bout the quality, camera phones... *sigh*
