hey guys,

long time viewer, first time poster. i promise i'll be more active from now on!

couldnt help but see there weren't good pix of "chevy" VE's, i spotted one down at the local Sunday Market on Aug 6, but never got around to posting them till now.

It was an Impulse SS (not V), was still RHD but had chev badges everywhere, even steering wheel. gives me an idea of what our E will look like if i was to chevy it when it arrives in march, like our current VZ SV6.:yeah:

sorry bout the quality, camera phones... *sigh*

Cheers,

Harri
you sure its not an SSV? it has the projector head lights which i thought were only on the V?

that aint a chevy lumina........RHD. rebadged commo

A LHD Lumina is still a Commie with LHD (and Rebadged).
A Pontiac GTO is still a Monaro.

And although the 2006 Chev Lumina is a VZ Variant it's still a Commie.

Yes, my bad, the lack of V badges and the 'standard' wheels threw me. it has the V headlights and black tinted tailights... and yeah it had the "tv screen" radio/nav display, implying SSV also... good pick up!!

my family only rebadged our SV6 cause there's soooo many blue SV6's around, we wanted one we would know was ours from a distance...that and the chevrolet safety check on the trip computer is kool.. haha :yeah:

i reckon i'll keep the holden badges on the VE when it comes, i wanna show off the billion dollar baby as what she is, not what the saudi's would get

Does this mean that people who want to be dick heads can buy the bow tie bits for their Holdens in Australia? Ironic really that people want to turn an Aussie designed and built product into an imitation yank tank...

Not as a Camaro no... It will most likely be in Monaro form in Australia. At least it's a Holden REBADGED as a Chev and not the other way around. No matter, there's still plenty of tools that will put bow ties all over their VE Holden Commodore.
