Yeah

Got 2 chips from Bob ,

Super Unleaded chip [ pings with Regular = BAD ] and a Regular chip , but i dont use it cos of the Over drive vibration problem [ not the chips fault ] ..

So I use whats in my sig - Power chip Gold ...

Make sure you tell Bob exactly what you want , Dont ask for a Super chip if you run Regular Unleaded , if you have the Driveline vibration problem [ VS ] make sure you ask for the 93KMH Torque converter lock up , this solves the bad vibration problem some VS have ...

Yes - Bobs chips will deliver more power , and possibly better fuel ecconomy ...

Power chip gold gives me 8Ltrs per 100 @ 110kmh Freeway driving .. Regular Unleaded , still need to see the Doc about the 93kmh lock up ...

A mate of mine bought a ebay chip for his vr auto v6 from some bloke in the northern subs and it was riddled with problems .

Then he spent more money on a powerchip gold and had it checked on a dyno
and it made less power than the standard chip.

So personally guys i recon forget about the mail order **** as these people have no idea what your cars requirements are and go for a real time dyno
tune and have your chip custom made.

My mate's last atempt was exactly that at Daylesford Dyno.
After Albert Lamb spent the day on his car, he was absolutly stoked with it.

cheers.

chip should be the last mod you do on your car. that way you get a chip that personally suits your car for best quality

The VX & VY needs to be flash programmed, yes we can do them

as far as the fuel economy goes, when driven sedately the economy will be pretty good, remember nothing is free, to make power you need fuel
