just serviced my vr new leads, spark plugs , oil bla bla, thought i clean out the throttle body . removed throttle postition sensore and cai. cleaned it and put it back exaclty how its was. all hoses appear to be fine. apart from the high pitch scream that is comeing from cai. it doesnt make this noise wen unplugd.????? Any help wuld b good
hmmm, try putting it back on again. Just sounds like air is rushing in around the edges. I had the same thing in my VC, very loud high pitched whistle. Found out a vacuum home came off and was sucking in air loudly. Simple things, simple fixes.
dam i have that same thing coming from my throttle body. i tried to take apart again and now soon as i let out clutch and gave it revs it was sputtering and wouldnt rev. probly didnt put throttle cable on properly or need to tighten it but doesn anyone know how to get rid of squeal from tb. oh if it helps i took out bellmouth and the bellmouth had a gasket on both sides of it but rear was broken so only put 1 back on. is 1 maybe a tiny bit bigger and could this be the reason?
