Here's my vt series 1 wagon.
I don't think you can beat a nice wagon for a daily. She's my work car and she has been a fantastic car since I bought her almost 3 years ago. Cost me $750 initially. It's been a very cheap restore and overall I am pretty proud of how she has turned out.

Current:

Ecotec. Few bolt on engine mods,CAI,tune, pacemakers and full exhaust.
Shift kit Auto.
Lowered and upgraded suspension and bushes.
WH statesman interior w/ reclothed black roof lining.
Custom stereo.
2x wrapped 5% window tint on rear window sections, 5% on doors, with new glass front and rear.
VZ mirrors and tail lights.
Resprayed exterior and pin striped.
Gloss black stockies with metal centre caps and pinstriped wheel trims. Whitewall tyres.

Future plans:

V8 Engine upgrade and Coulson interior. Deleted rear window wiper, deleted antenna and new window and door mouldings.
VT group A body kit.
Possible pearl clear over current paint job

Very clean, really like the look with those rims in your 3rd post. You'll love the ls1 . One of the guys at works got a vy wagon, have to ask him what exhaust, sounds fantastic, I'd say it's a full exhaust so much better than the cat back on my monaro

Yeah nice one. I already have some pacemaker headers with some high flow cats. But that's all I have so far with the exhaust system. I have a 102mm throttle body, OTR induction set up and some better brakes. Just need to get the engine/transmission and all the other fun stuff. Looking forward to it tho.

I also have some 17" steelies that I am getting sprayed metallic silver pearl at the moment to allow for a bit more room with the bigger rotors and brake upgrade. Only problem with that is that I'm limited with white walls in 17". With my current 15" I have a 38mm whitewall which I'm happy with. I can't find any new tyres with that thickness in a 17". I don't want fakewalls.
