Hmm... does it happen when you turn one way or both? Does it go away if you apply the brakes?

Is it a ticking or a knocking? If you've got spring issues they would manifest in more of a knocking when running from lock to lock or going over bumps.

If it's a ticking when you're turning one way, I'd be looking at a wheel bearing or maybe a loose brake pad?

Has the car been lowered with new springs or the old springs cut?

If it's the front... CV joints? Will click when the wheels are at full lock...

Commodores are rear wheel drive therefore dont have cv joints in the front.Check the front wheel bearings/hubs for play/looseness.Push and pull the wheels in and out at the top and bottom of the wheel.Jack it up to do this.It should have the tiniest bit of movement. It could also be the brake disk, brake pads or seized brake calipers not retracting the pads from the disks properly.
