Hi Guys,

Can you try this for me and let me know the result. Put climate control on fresh air, and then completely turn it off, so the fan is off. Does air still come out of the vents? Then put it on recirculate, does the air stop?

Mine still pumps out air at a good rate when going 100km/h when climate control is turned off. only stops when I select recirculate. Wondering if this is normal. Appears at that speed air is being forced into the cabin.

Cheers
Nick

On my VE no air come though the vents unless the power for the fans are turned on.

I like the way it works with flow through actually flowing without the fan.

I have a different issue with the ventilation system. If I have it set to recirculate, I have no issues. But if I change it to flow through, I get a faint burning rubber smell when the car is stationery. The smell fades once moving but comes back when you stop.

The smell reminds me of the residual smell you get if you drive through an area where someone just did a burnout. And before you ask - no I didn't...

Mine is a 09/14 build SV6 manual - last of the MY14's

Anybody else have anything like this ?

with the fan off it feels as though the fan is still on medium speed at 100km/h.

Yep solution is to recirculate or manually close the vents.

I have exactly this issue on my SS-V? Did you ever find a fix to this?
