    Hi All,

Aircon used to work great but then one day, well you all know the story. Anyway, one day I was cleaning the radiator and the A/C condenser under the front of the car. After giving it a good clean it looks like there is a dent in one of the evaporator fins from a stone or something similar and it may possibly by split :(

How do you or can you pressure test the A/C system? It's getting hotter and the missus is starting to nag about the lack of aircon :hmmm:

    Cheers

Usually they put a dye in the system then check for leaks with a light. It's getting hot in NZ you say....lol.

So, no home test?? Hot, I guess it's relative, but a dark car sitting in the sun all day gets very hot and it pays to keep the little lady happy ;)

no home test. You need it charged with nitrogen , a sniff of refrigerant , and either a gas sniffer or soapy water sprayed onto places of possible leaks.
