Clip on the brake booster hose

Does anybody know the name for the clip that holds the large hose to the brake booster. Its just looks like a piece of wire twisted in a loop that sits around the hose and holds it on the connector. Im just wondering because I recently had to take it off. I simply used a pair of pliers to squeeze the ends together, but the clip was so tricky to hold open that it would slip sideways and the pliers would loose grip and it scratch the clip up. Im wondering if there is a tool out there for these things that makes removing them a whole lot easier? Or a technique?

If you have an old pair of pliers simply grind a groove in the business end of the pliers with an angle grinder - about 1/4" in from the end and deep/wide enough to grip the clamp.
These clamps were common up till a few years ago and with the right tool they are much quicker to remove than Jubilee clamps.
