Hi, just wondering if anybody would buy a used clock spring, or would I be better off just buying a new one.

Clock springs will suffer wear due to simply turning the wheel over 100's of 1000's of kms... So, if you buy s second hand part, you are buying a worn part and how worn depends on the doner vehicles kms. Unless you can find a really low milage clock spring second hand, it's always better to buy new.

New should last as long if not longer than the one you are replacing, second hand wont...
