I have purchased a VR Clubsport dash tag, No 199 for my VN - Looks great in the car I must say.

The car that used to have this tag is dead. Cut up wreck.

Can I claim the ID - not that I want to change my car to a VR or anything like it - nor will I try and change the VIN.

There is no VR Clubsport No 199 anymore - so can the ID live on in my car.

Or am I just being an idiot dreaming of something that can never be.

The colour of my VN is very close to the VN Clubsport colour and well maybe some VN Clubsport stickers.....

People putting HSV style kits on cars = looks good etc.

People badging Holdens as things they aren't = Gay and lame.

Like people who badge mock up Clubbys etc. The kits look good, the badges look gay when you know it's a fake. What's worse, are those wankers who put Chev badges on their VY / VZ's. So ****ing lame.

But in the end, it's your decision really. So in answer to your question. I guess you could i suppose. No one else will have the 199 dash badge, as only one was made.

A Clubsport Kit and badges on V6 with rear muffler removed to make it loud = lame. Yep agreed.

Finding a VN Clubsport thats affordable and in SA is the problem. So my car will have to do for now.

    The dash tag can stay.

I'm Ok with it as my car dose not sound lame and I'm not gay. so all's good

what is with people posting things in the wrong sections today...

For the record, why would you bother claiming it? It is not a HSV, nor is it a clubsport. lol @ people doing these things, I fail to see what purpose it serves apart from wank factor.

Obviously the people who report the posts as being in the wrong section care about. Fail to understand why its so hard to differentiate between VN-VP My ride section and here.

As for delting bad words. You just admitted that clearly you were only after opinions that agreed with your own, Why bother asking if you should do it if you cant accept those who think its stupid to add HSV badges to a non hsv.

I've got a VL turbo badge here just incase I ever have a RB30 go in my VH :p but that would be the only outside modification to the car. But as far as VN's go the Executives are the best go fast model anyway so there's no need to be ashamed :)

If its going on your V8, and its just a dash tag, I'd say yes, stick it on.

But a V6, or an exterior badge, no.

Inside dash tag only in the V8. Indeed nothing on the outside.
