Hi guys
I own a 2008 R8 clubsport Tourer and I'm looking for options/opinions on getting new shock absorbers. I don't want coilovers or to lower the car in way, just a standered hight replacement. I always used monroe gt sports in my last cars but they aren't available for the clubsport.

If you want to stick with Monroe, get factory replacements from HSV, they're very close to GT Sports.

Otherwise, spend some coin on decent replacements, such as Koni or Bilstein's...

The GT Sport is their shortened shock, you sure you don't mean Monroe GT Gas?

Could be the GT Gas.
Still recommend Koni's or Bilstein's.

.. after the rear suspension collapsed on my 2015 Tourer
(and neither HSV or Holden were interested warranty wise)
I stuck a set of Bilsteins with King SL HD springs (gives
same height as std) .. poos all over the HSV set ups
